Tyler Cameron Browne, Victoria, BC - A few of us spent Thanksgiving weekend with Guy, Caroline and Tyler at their home in Victoria. Tyler (and I) got an early start on his busy day, which included playtime in the morning, a visit to his grandmother, and his first encounter with snow. By the end he was getting a little tired. Wu-Guertin Wedding, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - I was given the opportunity to spend several exciting days and nights in Mexico with Amanda, Jean-Francois and friends covering their wedding and preparations beforehand. The gallery includes photographs of days and nights out in Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta before the wedding, the ride in a catamaran to the wedding site, a sunset ceremony on the beach, wedding dinner by candlelight, and dancing in the waves by moonlight. Carmen - High- and low- key head and full body portraits against black and white backdrops. Carmen chose a light, natural style of makeup which works well with the high-key portraits.
Jackson - In this series of portraits of infant Jackson, the living room chandelier turned out to be a great soft light source, creating a warm and intimate effect.
Seattle Tattoo Exposition 2006 - Held at the Seattle Center each year, this convention was a great chance for to talk to and photograph a variety of people with interesting stories and body decorations.
Palm Springs, Salk Institute - A trip to the California desert, with a visit to the Salk Research Institute in San Diego on the way home, gave me a chance to try some landscape and architectural photography.
Redmond Derby Days 2006 - Derby Days is a summer festival which includes food, live bands, and as a highlight, a series of criterium bicycle races around the town square. The featured racers are from the Union Bay Cycling Team.
