Highlights - highlights from the entire trip (about 100 pictures covering three days).
Bucerias - Scenery from Bucerias, including the wedding suite, the ocean and the (one) main street.
DeSantos Restaurant - The launching pad for the Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, with great food, lots of smiles, and a fantastic outdoor balcony.
Rehearsal Dinner - Held at Xitomates restaurant, includes speeches by Wu Pa Pa and Pere Guertin, happy in-laws, and exuberant friends. Salsa dancing afterwards at the crowded and character-filled La Bodeguita Del Medio.
Spa - the Spa had saunas, hot tubs, exercise rooms, and...places to sit while waiting an hour and a half to have your hair done. Amanda was suprisingly relaxed.
Catamaran Ride - The wedding was an hour-long boat ride from the mainland. As the boat sped along the water, the sun set in anticipation of the ceremony. Beautiful lighting, a relaxed couple (nothing to do for an hour!) and photogenic guests combined for spectacular effect.
Pre-Ceremony - The boat arrived, and the rush to prepare began, as the sun was not going to wait! Twenty minutes to prepare for the bride and her party, and slippery steps to run up and down for the photographer! The colors (and dresses) changed every moment. Some celebratory champagne, and the party was good to go.
Ceremony - In an intimate ceremony, against the shifting pastel oranges, pinks, purples and blues of the setting sky, Amanda and Jean-Francois took their vows, and were married.
Dinner and Dancing - The party began right away! Dinner was by candlelight, there were speeches, a cake, a fire dancer, the first dance, and ocean waves in the moonlight.
Formal - The all important pictures of the families, and a relieved and relaxed Amanda and Jean-Francois.
